We wanted a greenhouse to extend the NH growing season. In the early spring of 2014, we began our research. Our goal was to make a greenhouse on a budget, use recycled materials when we could, extent the growing season, and have it done by fall. I drafted up my vision...Justin ran with it!
Our life in Barrington, NH began Memorial Day weekend, 2013. I started planting the week after we moved in. There were two small raised beds that we planted seedlings in. It was only a week later that we knew that a fence was necessary. Deer had sampled each and every plant. We used the wire sheets they put into cement to line the edges. The fence was cheap and worked just fine. We had a pretty good harvest considering the amount we planted. Herbs, tomatoes, summer squash, eggplant, and zucchini. We were content, but had big plans for the spring of 2014! Hover over or click on each picture to read our story!
